During regular, preventive maintenance, the pads should be replaced every 2 years and the battery every 4 years. We do this at our service center in Eemnes, NL. The pads must be replaced after use. The battery can deliver 200 shocks and does not need to be replaced after use. We replace the pads through an on-site exchange of the entire AED.
